Worship

The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception is, as its mission states, “a place of worship, pilgrimage, evangelization and reconciliation.”  Open 365 days a year, the Basilica offers the faithful six Masses and five hours of Confession daily, as well as daily, weekly and seasonal Devotions, to fulfill its mission as a place where “the faithful gather to worship God, give honor to Mary, and are sent to spread God’s Word wherever they go.”

The Basilica “invites people from across the country and beyond into the saving moment of faith, hope and charity.” Whether in person or online, you may pray with us, Request a Prayer, Light a Candle, or request a Spiritual Enrollment for yourself or a loved one in the Shrine Prayer Guild or Memorial Registry.  We welcome you to worship with us!
