The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception will provide meals for hundreds of poor, homeless, elderly, and needy individuals living in the District of Columbia and surrounding areas on Christmas Day. More than eight hundred Christmas dinners are served each year in the National Shrine Cafeteria and another eight hundred are delivered to shut-ins.
Volunteers are needed to fill many different positions. If you are able to help out, either at the Basilica or by delivering meals, registration will begin in November. Please check back to this page for information about signing up to help with this wonderful event.
